Since 1836, Colt has been a trusted name in firearms. The Davidson's Exclusive Colt 1911 "El Compadre" continues that legacy with a simple, yet striking design.

The slide and frame are a deep Baron blue with high polish flats. The eye is drawn to the slide's vine scrolls with deep horizontal line drop-out accents on both sides.

Combining style, form, and function, the "El Compadre" hardware is adorned in 24-carat gold including the rampant Colt, vine scroll borders, Colt logo, and stylized "El Compadre" on the side. A 38 Super headstamp completes the slide's design with 24-carat gold and silver primer. The frame carries its own level of sophistication with Exhibition grade polished elk shed grips and a gold Colt medallion.
